A cheeky approach to breast & cervical screening in the South West

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

In an effort to raise awareness of breast and cervical cancer screening, the South West Regional Cancer Program has joined forces with local community partners to create Tops & Bottoms – a fun, informative event for women in the community.  Tops & Bottoms urges women to protect what’s up top and “down there” by learning what steps can be taken to prevent cancer and detect it early.

The event will feature a cooking demonstration, bra fitting tips, and a fashion show featuring items from Mine 101, a local boutique that donates proceeds to support women and children in the community. Of course, cancer survivors will be modeling the feature finds. Experts from each partner organization will be on hand to offer health information and advice.

Join the fun, educate yourself and live healthy!
