Lou's Story: "I was doing everything right. Why should something happen to me?"

Lou thought we was doing everything right. A dentist by trade, he believed his knowledge of the health field coupled with an active lifestyle would be enough to keep him thriving in good health.  Lou had never considered screening for colorectal cancer and like most men, he says, never liked going to the doctor.  He thought he was in the clear until one fall he started experiencing pain and discomfort that would change his life.  

In the video below, Lou shares his experience of being diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and encourages eligible men and women (over 50 or with a family history) to talk to their health care provider about screening.
