Systemic Therapy Nursing Education Guideline

Patients should receive the same level of safe, high-quality, evidence-based cancer care, regardless of their physical location. In order to help reach these principles, both initial and ongoing education is needed to support nurses at level 4 sites in acquiring the knowledge and skills required to develop and maintain competency in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration and care. The Regional Systemic Therapy Nursing Education Guideline was developed to outline these education requirements.
