What:
Ontario Breast Sreening Program (OBSP)
Who:
Women aged 50 to 74 years.
When:
Average risk women should screen for breast cancer every two years.
How:
Mammography is the preferred screening method for women at average risk of developing breast cancer. Breast cancer screening is free-of-charge for women in Ontario. At age 50 women can contact an OBSP screening site for an appointment. A doctor referral is not necessary.
