London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) Patient Assistance Program - This program was developed to assist cancer patients with unexpected expenses, from medications to travel. Any adult who is undergoing treatment at LRCP and/or affiliated hospitals in the region and is experiencing a financial burden as a result of their cancer and its treatment, is eligible to apply for assistance. Canadian Cancer Society Peer Support Service - is a free Peer Support Service connects people living with cancer with trained volunteers who listen, provide hope, offer encouragement and share ideas for coping – all from their unique perspective as someone who’s been there. Wheels of Hope Transportation Service - Patients registered with the Canadian Cancer Society's Wheels of Hope transportation service will be picked up and taken to their appointment by a volunteer driver. For more information call 1-888-939-3333 or visit their website.
CancerChatCanada - CancerChatCanada support groups are available to Canadians who have been diagnosed with cancer and their family or friends who are caring for them, there is no cost involved. Visit the group information page to complete the secure online registration form.
